Raja Rani comes as an interesting film right from the first look posters. After the trailer launch expectation levels on the music is shooting up and here is our music review…

A love for life;Singers: Chennai Symphony, G.V.Prakash, Instrumental, Navin Iyer

GV Prakash is known for his theme song in his film and this number ‘ A love for life’ is one of his best after Mayakkam Enna theme. The gentle piano with melodious orchestra takes us to a new world and when the chorus portion starts it gives us goose bumps.

Angnyaade;Singers: Shakthisree Gopalan;Lyrics: Pa.Vijay

Our pick in the album , Shakthi Sree’s vocals is such a delight to hear and she throws the rural lyrics with so much ease. Just like Yathey Yathey this song is going to rule the charts in 2013, the instruments used is so soothing to ears a definite hit by all means.Special mention to Pa Vijay’s lyrics and it is his best in recent times.

Imaye imaye;Singers: G.V. Prakash Kumar, Shakthisree Gopalan;Lyrics: Pa. Vijay

The vocal version of A love for life with the soulful voices of GV Prakash and Sakthi Sree. Both GV Prakash and Sakthisree reach the high pitch with so much ease and not to forget Pa Vijay’s soul striking lyrics.

Hey Baby;Singers: Aishwarya, G.V.Prakash Kumar, Gaana Bala;Lyrics: Gaana Bala, Na.Muthukumar

The song starts with a western cool number and then shifts to the traditional theme with a Gaana ending by Gaana Bala. A innovative song by GV Prakash and he tried different instruments in one song. Aishwarya’s voice  in the middle is so catchy and so as Gaana Bala’s one.

Unnale;Singers: Vandana Srinivasan;Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar

The percussions used in this number is so classy and Vanda Srinivasan’s vocal just spills the soulful energy along with the tune. Na Muthukumar’s lyric is simple yet striking.

Chillena;Singers: Alka, Alphonse, Clinton Cerejo;Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar

Once again GV Prakash has completely went for a different attempt by using different genre of music in one song which is very rare. Kudos to GV’s experiment so that the entire album sounds so fresh and cheerful.

Oday Oday;Singers: Sasha, Shalmali Kholgade, Vijay Prakash;Lyrics: Pa. Vijay

Vijay Pakash’s throws lot of energy and makes this fun number more interesting. The rock and roll kind of instruments also grabs our attention Must be a party number and waiting for colourful visuals.

Verdict : Innovative,Interesting and Intriguing !
